My name is Sophia Mecca, and I started riding at 12 years old. Like so many others, I quickly fell in love with not just the sport, but the animals and the community around it. As an artist and a teenage girl obsessed with fashion, I wanted to combine my passions and express my personal style through what I wore while riding. After six years in the saddle and countless hours searching for fun, affordable riding shirts—with no luck—I decided to take matters into my own hands and created Foal Around Equestrian. What began as a personal project turned into a true passion: designing patterned, high-quality shirts that bring personality and joy to every ride without breaking the bank. Every piece is inspired by the happiness riding brings and the connections it creates. Whether you're showing or schooling, I hope Foal Around encourages riders to break out of the norm and wear something that truly reflects their uniqueness—inside and out!
